The Sunbio UG500 is an advanced semi-automated coagulation analyzer engineered to meet the growing demands of medium to high-throughput clinical laboratories. It integrates both mechanical and optical clot detection technologies, allowing for the simultaneous execution of classical clotting tests and advanced immunoturbidimetric or chromogenic assays. This dual-mode functionality enables precise and flexible testing for a wide spectrum of hemostatic parameters, including PT, APTT, TT, fibrinogen, D-dimer, lupus anticoagulant (LA), protein S, protein C, and APC resistance.
The analyzer is equipped with 4 mechanical detection channels and 2 optical channels, facilitating parallel testing and minimizing turnaround time. Its 16-sample loading capacity and 6 reagent positions (4 pre-heated and 2 ambient) support continuous, walk-away operation. Each reagent and sample is maintained at optimal reaction temperatures (37 ± 1 °C) via intelligent pre-warming and thermal control zones to ensure consistent and reproducible results.
A standout feature of the UG500 is its linked pipette and independent mixing system, which enhances reagent/sample integration and test precision. The system automatically handles sample identification through a built-in barcode reader, reducing manual input and risk of transcription errors. The intuitive user interface, powered by a bright LCD touchscreen, offers real-time process tracking and simplified navigation for operators at all levels.
